Decimal hours and hours and minutes
Results such as 2.75 hours are decimal hours. To turn the decimal part into minutes, multiply it by 60: 0.75 × 60 = 45, so 2.75 hours is 2 hours 45 minutes. Timesheets and payroll often use decimal hours, so this conversion comes up a lot.
